Gullion Media Limited is a small publishing company set up during the summer of 2008 to expand upon our experiences of working in broadcast television and film production.
George J. Kingsnorth (Managing Director) began his career in television. Since 1984 he has been involved with over 200 productions, primarily as an editor. “Each programme I have worked on seemed to be an educational experience, a short course in local history. The joy of learning something new encouraged me to continue with my education on a part-time basis”. This journey led him through an Open University degree, a Masters Degree in Media Studies and more recently a Postgraduate Diploma in Further & Higher Education. During the mid-1990s, George was the technical editor for Regional Film & Television newspaper. In 2001, he was approached by the publishing company Friends of Ed to contribute towards four training manuals for software such as Adobe’s After Effects and Apple’s Final Cut Pro. During 2004 to 2006, he co-wrote, produced and directed the digital feature film, Fiddler’s Walk. With several other scripts waiting to be developed, George decided to novelise one and take it to publication through Gullion Media Limited.
